How to fix your community college’s legacy care plan
- by admin
The Legacy Community Health Care Plan is in crisis, according to the Community Action Plan.
The Community Action plan has been in place for 20 years.
It was designed to give students and families with a wide range of health needs more access to community health care, and it was supposed to last until 2025.
But a new proposal to fix the plan is making waves.
Community Action plans are not new.
They have been in existence for decades.
In 2018, the Community Health Plan received the Green Light from the State of New York, which means it can move forward.
That means that the plan can move into the final phase of implementation.
For now, however, the plan needs the help of the community to make sure it goes into effect in time for the 2021-2022 school year.
“We are looking to raise awareness about the Legacy Community Plan and we are going to be speaking to the community about it,” said Jennifer Moseley, CEO of Legacy Community College, the state’s largest community college system.
As of March 31, Legacy was facing a $2 million shortfall in its budget for the next academic year.
The plan is also facing a massive backlog in enrollment.
To fix the Legacy plan, the community is asking for your help.
The Legacy community action plan has already received support from community leaders in the state.
